A Blind Turtle
A Blind Turtle / The Hole / Chiggala Sutta (SN 56:48)
Being born in the human realm at a time when a Buddha has arisen and the teachings are available is a very rare opportunity. It is as seldom as if a yoke of wood with a hole in it had been thrown into a sea that covered the whole world and a blind turtle that came to the surface only once every one hundred years would put its head through that hole. In other words, don’t miss your chance to practice these teachings!
