A Superior Person

Aṅguttara Nikāya 70 (IV, 73)

A superior person is quick to praise others and slow to extol themselves.

They are quick to reveal their own faults in full and slow to criticise others.

The inferior person is slow to praise others and quick to extol themselves.

They are quick to reveal other’s faults and slow to praise others.
