Four Thoroughbreds
Aṅguttara Nikāya 74 (IV, 113)
There are four classes of beings:
Beings of darkness heading towards darkness.
Beings of darkness heading towards light.
Beings of light heading towards darkness.
Beings of light heading towards light.
Whether you are high or low born what matters is whether you engage in good conduct.
