Removing Grudges
Aṅguttara Nikāya 108 (V, 161)
If a grudge has arisen towards someone then these are the five main ways to remove that grudge.
- Cultivate loving-kindness towards them.
- Cultivate compassion towards them.
- Cultivate equanimity towards them.
- Pay no attention to them and give them no thought.
- Apply to them the thought that they own their karma. This person is heir to their actions both good and bad.
