Right View:
knowledge of suffering, its origin, its cessation and the path to cessation. -
Right Intention:
renunciation, non ill-will, harmlessness -
Right Speech:
abstinence from false, divisive, harsh or idle talk -
Right Action:
abstinence from destoying life, from taking what is not given and sexual misconduct -
Right Livelihood:
abstinence from livelihood based on dishonesty, violence or coercion -
Right Effort:
don’t let evil states arise and work to reduce those that have arisen for oneself and for others -
Right Mindfulness:
contemplate the body as the body, feelings as feelings, mind as mind and phenomena as phenomena -
Right Concentration:
the four jhanas
